In national and international sea, air and land transport, the safety of goods has the highest priority. In order to protect these against foreign access and manipulation, they are sealed. Container seals or bolt seals have been developed for exactly this purpose: For the secure closing of containers. For maximum security, Kronsguard recommends using a container lock, possibly in conjunction with a container seal.
Container seals consist of two parts: a bolt and a closure body. To close the two parts are inserted into each other and engage. The opening of the container seals is done with a bolt cutter. Here the bolt seals differ to the pull-through seals and the fixed-length seals. The latter can be opened without or with light auxiliary tools.
The 2-part seals are designed for maximum material stress. The metal body of the container seal has a highly visible colored plastic coating to prevent corrosion. They are used to securely close containers in sea and rail transport. For different container seals, we recommend cable seals (or security seals). These are more flexible in terms of length and mounting options.
All bolt seals are numbered consecutively, reducing the risk of tampering. In addition, Kronsguard container seals have the current ISO / PAS certification.
